Smile Advice on a new purchase please...

Hey guys,

Hope your all keeping well? I'm hoping to buy my first Impreza and thought this would be a good place to get some info as it seems a very knowledgeable forum. Unfortunately I cant afford the insurance on a WRX so will have to settle for a 2006 (hawkeye) 2.0 RX instead. Still a lot better than my current Mazda 323!

So was just wondering is there any major problems I should look out for? The car I am looking at has 71,633 Miles on it. For example what are the service intervals like with regard to timing belts etc? Any tell tale signs I should look for future problems?

Please bear in mind I'm not the most technically minded so any advice for a newbie would be much appreciated!

If anyone is interested here is a link to the actual car I'm thinking about:

Thanks in advance,
Colin

Hey G4rfo... already got a quote for the turbo for €1450 which I cant really justify tbh! Insurance over here is madness...
