Low 300's I would expect with a vf28. Or at least I wouldn't want to be maxing it out any higher... Depends on how brave you feel.

That's very impressive mileage , You obviously look after your motor, I would ask for advice from the mapper You are considering using aswell as us, but it is high mileage and obviously you will be putting extra strain on the internals, box , clutch etc but saying that you could have a lower mileage car that's been thrashed and not looked after at all and yet could quite easily go bang.
If You plan on keeping the car and it's something you really want to do then go for it, just make sure your mapper doesn't take it to the limits of your engine,

The power you could expect I think would be anything between 300-340bhp and similar torque figures with the right set up.

Well Andy is one the biggest names in the business , it will be safe in his hands, I would give it a good service, ngk plugs good quality oil, filter etc before hand but I don't need to tell you that do I . I would also consider a 3 port boost valve and upgrading the fuel pump if not already done, and possibly a bigger intercooler from an Sti but not vital if you want to be around the 300bhp figure anything more and I would get a bigger one.

It allows the mapper to control the boost better, yea i would put the Sti tmic in then if you can get hold of one, also consider porting the turbo too.

hi,
just a small point re the 3 port - Andy mapped my 01 wrx 6 months ago, I had the recommended 3 port with me for him to fit... he said that it wasnt really necessary; so I didnt fit it.
we could arrange a price for mine, still in the box if you really want it.
But not required for what you are doing.

I am running 350/360 by the way.
