Default help me please :(

Hi Guys,

clutch is starting to slip so need a new one ... my car is a 2004 WRX but pushing 285bhp - so dont think the standard clutch can handle it. - was looking at upgrading can anyone recommend any stage 1's?

ive had a look on fleebay but dont trust them on there. Or if you or anyone else you know have any to fit my model let me know

The exedy standard clutch can take up to 300 but if your intending to go further then you want to look at exedy stage one

looking at getting some pinks, fuel pump and bigger turbo at some point so will no doubt need a stage 1 ... however dont trust the ones for sale on ebay as you get some made out of play dough haha

Type exedy stage one for sale in the search bar, someone was selling them at a good discount price not So long ago

I'm running the standard one with around 330bhp. Been on car since new. From reading threads on here I think standard one is okay to aroung 350 mark then wrx's tend to start lacking in a few areas.

Does of course depend how car has been driven. My car spends most of its time doing very little.

what is the standard clutch in an 04 wrx? do they have OEM exedy as standard?

Different box but exedy make the standard one I believe

Give SWperformance a call on 0151 355 4309. I got a stage one pink exedy supplied and fitted for under £500 just over a year ago when they traded as dyno demon. They are based in Ellesmere Port so not too far away
