Default Classic 6 speed conversion, what gator?

Hi, I've got a 6 speed box in my classic RA now, and wondered what you guys have fitted instead of the rubber gear stick gator? It won't fit due to the lift reverse collar.

Thanks, MIT.

What version? i used the original one in my v3, fitted perfectly just a bit wd40(not sure that was best for rubber) and it pushed thro, looked factory fitted.

Ah, ok, I'll have a play tomorrow. I'm changing the **** anyway. It's a v2 with the ribbed rubber one.

Thanks, MIT.

What a conversation! Ribbed rubber ones, tight, plenty of lube, ****,
I need to stop the lift up reverse lever on the stick rattle to, was thinking of putting some grease in there.

Got a red leather one in mine. I had to modify it slightly, but it looks nice now. £7.99 from a carshop.

All sorted, as said the standard one fit and looks great, cheers guys. Also, it's stopped the reverse lifter rattle, win win.

Hi mate, to be honest they are quite similar 1-5, plus a nice 6th for motorways. It's opened up more power potential, not this year, but maybe next. I blew 5th on the old box, so needed doing. 425-450 is what I'm aiming for.
