I`m sure i`ve seen a tread on this before but I carn`t find it. I need to fit a tow bar to my 2002 wrx to tow a small trailer Has anyone any info on them?, I prefer the removable type if possible but dont fancy the rediculous price that my local dealer is quoting. Any info would be gratefully received.

I bought a tow bar for a MY00 from Edworthy's (I think) It's a Witter one and was about £100. Pretty east to fit. I guess they do one for teh MY02? Try their website.

was the Witter the removable type?. Towsure do one at £105 for the standard one and £214 for the detachable type I think they call it the "Eclipse" The Scooby dealer price is about the same I think. so I was looking for any alternatives.
Thks.

Do a search for BOSAL.com

They are about £250 each for detachable and lockable

yep, i agree with petes advice, i have a bosal on my MY01 wagon- superb value for money and a quality bar.

i got mine from a local fitter and he did the whole job (supply and fit) for under £300ish so try that route rather than buy the bar first (unless you plan to self fit)

ps- you certainly know you tow bars Mr lewis
