Subaru Impreza GX sport misfiring on all 4 cylinders
Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can help me, I have a 2003 subaru Impreza gx sport, Out of the blue 3 weeks ago I was driving along and it started losing power gradually it got worse to the point that it bunny hops down the road! The power comes and goes and when ticking over the revs go up and down a little. It's been in the garage for the last 2 weeks...... they don't seem to be able to find out whats wrong with it, It's coming up on the computer as misfiring on all 4 cylinders so far they have tried: Fuel Filter, Maf sensor, Neuteral switch they said that they have checked all the leads. Any suggestions from you guys would be appreciated.
Cheers

A reputable Subaru specilist garage may save you money buy pinpointing a known problem as opposed to replacing parts & guessing what it could be.
Did you get a random multiple missfire code?

yup may well be the fuel pump noy supplying enough pressure to the injectors. ask the garage to put an inline gauge in the system and measure the fuel pressure

Just thought I would post what it was that was wrong with my car..... I tried a new coil pack and that didn't work either turned out to be the Lamber sensor.
