Changed fuel sender, What's next?
Been having a recurring P0463 code Fuel level sensor A circuit high so a few people advised to replace fuel sender which I have done thanks to matty sorting me out a replacement.
Had the car in the garage today for a different issue and had the codes reset so as yet not come back but completed switching over the fuel sender about an hour ago and took it for a drive. Started off with half a tank, 5 miles up the road same old deal with the empty light being on, followed by back up to a quarter of a tank, drove home again and back to half a tank.
Should I have waited for the P0463 to return before switching the sender then reset the code or wouldn't that matter?
Any DIY tips of what to start checking or replacing next?
Proper annoyed! The switch was a right PITA!
