Default Gold paint code please

Hi, im looking for the lighter gold paint code for prodrive wheels. It has to be in waterbase bs form as the local powder coater isnt recognising any codes ive given so far.
Ive already supplied all the codes i know which are.
AKZONOBEL 7E81208
SP3419GD
DUPONT J5505
57E81203
R9312

Having supplied all these codes and still been told they cant find it, i dont know where to go from here. I cant colour match as i dont have the original wheels, its for compomotives and i dont want the BBS GK1 paint.

Please someone help with a code they will be able to do in a waterbased paint.

Thanks Stuart

hey, get your paint from here, its who i have used and i emailed them about the application and i had this in return

http://www.wheelpaints.co.uk/product_details_79.htm

speedline gold is a high temperature basecoat that can be used as a normal
basecoat or for powdercoating.
For normal painting you require basecoat thinner for powder coating modified
polyester thinner.

hope this helps you

Hi its the code that I need as they want it to through their supplier. If i supply it i wont get any come back if theres an issue after powdercoating. The 2000 code is that not the brembo calipers paint code?
Anyone with a bs waterbased paint code as near as they can to prodrive lighter gold? Failing that ill just have to pick one i didnt want to do this though.

Thanks

Stuart

Look at the pic of my wheel mate,100% PRODRIVE gold and the brembo gold is a lot darker

Hi can anyone back up prodriverules with this?

I only ask as you have previously stated this as a brembo caliper colour.

Dan no problem I wish I could just use that guy, never found it so hard to get a bloody colour. Most golds seem to be hard to come by, advan volk compomotive speedline dont seem to give out the codes in bs waterbase form.

Its really the compmotive gold i could do with if i want to get them back to originals, so if anyone has it ill take it.

Thanks

Stuart

?? You've lost me now fella, when did I state that then?
I use a Peugeot colour for brembo brakes as seen on 306 GTI6 etc
The colour of my wheels in the pic is as stated 2000M due to the fact I painted them

Prodriverules It's this post I'm talking about,

https://www.scoobynet.com/wheels-tyr...-calipers.html
Thanks for all the info, this form has been excellent for people sharing information.

I got another code/mix

25-676 silver fine (mix no) 594 mix ratio 88%
25-632 gold yellow toner (mix no) 581 mix ratio 12%

Has anyone used this mix before? Apparently it's slightly lighter than bbs gk1

I think I'll go with the BBS GK1 paint as thanks to Dan I'll be able to give my powder coater an exact break down of the paint code, thanks really appreciate it.

Prodriverules thanks for posting up the images, it's swung me towards just going with the GK1 paint after seeing the ones you've painted, they look really good. I'll get the images up once I get them back.

I see said the blind man lol,my bad and mistake on that one

No worries on the info though,GK1 does look rather good on thoses bbs's and would suit a prodrive wheel for sure!

No problem, I've supplied the powder coater with the 2 codes given one BBS GK1 and the other is the slightly lighter code I've been supplied. I'll get an image up once they are done to try and help others gauge what code to use.

So I went for BBS GK1 and here it is on my compomotives. To be honest it depends how the light is in the photograph as to how the colour looks
