Default Gearbox or clutch issues :(

I have a Uk2000 turbo classic, on a "w reg". Had the car over a year now and it's about time I fixed this issue. I find it very hard to find the gears, takes ages to put it in reverse, (double clutching and putting in other gears doesn't seem to make much difference) I also find it hard to find 1st/ 2nd gear when i am coming up to a roundabout, doesn't do it all the time? Some days are worse then others, doesn't make a noise, car currently has 68,000, new clutch fitted at 58,000. Car goes up the gears fine, no clutch slip, gear box had a Oil change, Cars not been tracked or driven hard (that's I know off) know the last 3 owners. Could it be the gear linkage?, another clutch or worse case a gearbox? I haven't the time to take it apart as its a daily driver. Any advise or knowlege I would be greatful for.

I know this may be a wild stab in the dark but do you have floor mats in the front? Is the floor at risen up behind the pedal?

*oh it doesn't like going into 5th when driving at speed also, at higher revs, if I dip the clutch and let the revs drop it goes in fine!

Did you have the flywheel inspected at the same time the clutch was changed? Also there is a spring under the intercooler which is part of the clutch system, make sure this is there and if it looks ok

Has the clutch system been bled with fresh fluid? Has the clutch master & slave cylinder been checked for wear?

Hard to find, it's like the gear isn't there at, honesly dont think it's the box, I have checked my fluid and it's black! As black! :S so im guessing it's the Master and slave cylinder at fault. From what I understand the backness may be the rubers braking down inside?
