96 jdm holding back at 6000rpm
Just got car it's boosting over a bar and when it hits about 6000 rpm I get a loss of power like its over boosting car has engine change from eclipse in 2010 so I think maybe actuator been messed with iv got no blink codes any idears

plugs?
coil packs if its a v2 or plug leads?
are you using optimax i.e super unleaded?
is it serviced well?
these cars are not getting any younger & need to be looked after well to keep at their best.
When i had an issue at higher revs it was my ageing coil packs not being upto the job. and crap spark plugs do not help the cause. get some ngk pfr6b's in there to start the ball rolling.
check there is a good clean panel filter too. not that this will sort this issue out but it is good maintenance.
