Hi all my battery and warning light ( red one with exclamation mark ) have come on and on my voltage gauge its showing over charging at 16v when running ?
Could this be a faulty alternator ?
Any help appreciated

I know it's strange how the battery light is also on and over charging at 16v ??

no about 14.2 with engine running and lights etc off

No I've had the car for x2 years and it normally runs at 14v

either the alternator is on its way out i.e faulty regulator inside or a dodgy earth.
first thing is check all connections are tight but i think your alternator is dying

My mechanic mates coming around to confirm that my alternator is fooked and if so I'll be ordering one ASAP !

I've had alot of positive comments ref the logo, I had it designed and this was the 3rd draught . The other x2 were ok ish but i knew this one was the one !

Lol I know mate, you missed the previous posts. I said it normally runs at 14v but it is now running at 16v, all sorted now anyway I had to get a new alternator
