I done mine the other week on a v4 engine and it took me about 10hrs it was a nightmare. Taking the old one out took me 20min because you just cut it out, i tried working it in under the manifold but after getting it stuck i ended up taking the whole manifold off. A garage will proberly charge you about 4-5hrs labour.

I have done it several times and will be doing again in the next few weeks as i need to respray the inlet manifold again. Its not a hard job so dont let it scare you, its a time consuming job but if you arent in a rush and you are handy with spanners go for it, take you time and do it properly. Good luck

Here's a tip if you are doing job with manifold on once you have pushed bent & manipulated the silicone intake pipe though , tie a mini ratchet ( not ratchet end obviously) round the pipe , align it to turbo inlet & get a mate to pull with the strap , wilst you push , it will go on no problem

Regards
