Size of the compressor wheel

G is a designation for the Mitsubishi turbos

How much power do you want form your car as the standard TD05-16G is pretty damn good turbo imo.

so far i have done the following:

Full stainless decat
Fuel pump upgrade 255lph
Yellow injectors
FMIC
Fuel pressure regulator (inc. rail adapt)
HKS super power flow induction
Bailey Bov

Was thinking if i do the turbo that would give me plenty to go on, from what i understand to take a classic over 350 is big ££££ which i dont really want to spend, want to get the best bang for my bucks!

Looking for more gains without spending stupid, heading to Scooby clinic this motnh to get everything working together, thought turbo mgiht add a few more bhp and save me another trip further down the line?

TD05-18G or VF34 are ones I've looked at and they will reach your target but tbh if you're going to Scooby Clinic ask them what they can do for you if you want a bigger turbo.

If you're going for that power though your gearbox may not be too happy as ,if it's the original one,it's quite old.

Unless your car is a wagon, you will already have a TD05 16G fitted, which is about as good as you get, its capable of 340-350bhp, and really I wouldnt want to push more than that out of a classic reliably anyway.

Plus the yellow 440s are the limiting factor anyway i.e. about 320-340bhp. So as said, no point replacing the 16g just yet then.
