Default Best place for a Sub Frame for 51 Plate UK300?

Hi,

I'm in need of a subframe for a 51 plate UK300. Wondering where you guys recommend looking or if anybody has one they're breaking or anything?

Mechanic says it's the U-shape one. (not sure if that helps identify it or if he was explaining that to me for my sake?)

Wont it ruin the handling somewhat and perhaps even fail MOT?

Where can I find a couple of the threads I can't seem to find them after doing a quick search.

Nope. the U frame is there for extra crash protection. Its common for them to rot. Many including myself have removed them with no ill effects
