Default Any risk of damage running with faulty lamda?

The cel on my 01 UK bugeye wrx is lit & the obd is saying it is the 2nd (rear) lambda that is faulty,I have a new one coming on Tuesday but I would like to know if there is any risk of engine damage if I continue to use the car?.

It still drives ok,a little lumpy on part throttle at low revs but other than that it seems fine.

Is it ok to drive normally or should I be taking it easy or just not use it at all until the new sensor is fitted?

I recommend running it as little as poss , obviously if you go steady it will help
but it's not gonna be fueling right
Not ideal using it but if needs must
