Default overboost fix

hi all. my cars a uk turb my00. just had td05 fitted and remapped. it seems to creep over 20psi which it should be boosting at in higher gears to 23/24 which i am worried about... i think this is due to there not being any restrictor pill fited. it was setup with the original 2 port boosdt controller. ok i wannt to keep the car safe for time being as i cant afford a 3port and map tweak. so would i be ok putting on a manual boost controller and setting it to 20psi or under as itsbeen setup to fuel for this??? or is running with a mbc just dangerous full stop?? as im thinking for this situation it might actually be safer as i know u guys hate mbc'ers on here lol.

sound slike you need to take it back to the mapper ot be looked at,m if its just been mapped shouldn't be getting issues.

I've used a MBC on my MY00 from day one, for the very reason to prevent overboost.

I was reluctant to use 1 as ive read everyone hating them on the net. So ill set it to 20psi then. So the ecu still knows to fuel for the 20 psi by using the map sensor etc then? And the boost controller solely used for controlling boost and wont effect fueling not using it. Just dont wana blow up my motor ) thanks guys well helpful
