parrallel fuel rails

Parallel fuel rails distribute the fuel more evenly to the injectors as opposed to being fed in series by the OE setup having number 4 i think fed last, which is the one closest to the turbo, it gets the hottest and requires more fuel for cooling, but being at the end of the supply chain means it can become very hot, hence it being the most common point of failure.
You don't NEED an fpr, but it is better to fit one, then your able to control the exact pressure, which is better.
At 460 bhp i would deffo have parallel rails and fpr, as well as a new HRC/Bosch fuel pump just to be safe.

Can a mapper adjust the fuel to avoid failure of the piston?
I had parallel fuel rails on my car and everytime i swtiched the engine off, after about 5 min try to start aigain i needed to crank twice for the car to start and used to smell loads of fuel and was running very lumpy.
I had the car mapped and it was the same, i took it all out and now its perfect on standard rails, had my mapper to check and it was all ok without the paralled fuel supply and it was running much better then before and its like that since.

There is a bit more to it than that, but yes to a degree, injector duty i believe, adds a bit more fuel, but i could be wrong about the how to do it, but it is doable, i'm just starting to learn about diy mapping so not fully up on it yet.
Sounds to me like you had some other issue with the parallel rails, as i have not heard that one before, most that fit them don't go back.

something im interested in too, i need to upgrade my sidefeed injectors to about 750cc and was told i should also upgrade to parallel fuel rails just to be safe. Looking for a full kit too, few options i have came across is Perrin, APS, aeromotive, not sure which is the best option to go for.
