Help finding a project thread or info reqd (N/East manual assistance welcome too)
Hi
I'm trying to find a thread (any thread, not a specific one) where somebody has used 20mm spacers to convert a pre facelift classic to straigh entry turbo. Specifically wondering what intake pipes are possible, does power steering reservoir need moving etc??
Also, as part of my own project (which may turn in to a belated project forum thread) I probably need to install a swirl pot and subsequent secondary pump. I'm fairly confident I can do it, but would happily accept any offers for help in actually fitting it (in the Newcastle area) from somebody confident, just for a bit of comfirmation bias if nothign else.
Cheers in advance

I should point out that I am searching in the project threads, but I get distracted by the epic builds in there, most of which are a million pages long and each takes about a week to read ;-)

Swap the P/S pump/reservoir for the later classic one, or change it for the Newage remote reservoir set up. Nice priced full kit here
Not sure that 20mm spacers are required, IIRC 10mm are sufficient. Give Alyn @ AS Performance a call, 0191 410 3770
Phase 1.5 inlet manifold fits your Phase 1 heads, wouldn't need spacers then.
