Can anyone point me in the direction of instructions for removing/fitting wing mirrors to the MY03 STi please?

The shells on mine are somewhat battered and someone has a pair of mirrors from the previous year's model and assures me that the fitment is the same. I'd like to do a swap but I'm not sure how hard it is to do. I haven't done a great deal of work on this car (or any other car for that matter) but I'm fairly handy so I should be able to manage it as long as it's not that hard.

 

pull the triangle part off that is on the inside of the door, it only push on.

you will see three bolts behind the plastic part you just removed, undo these and the mirror will come off.

then unplug the wiring push fitting and remove.

plug new mirror in and refitting is reversal of removing.

bugeye mirror are slightly different to blob hawk versions but fit the blobeye fine.

i have jdm bugeye folding mirrors fitted to my blob.

 

That sounds simple enough.
