Default Horrible Grinding Feeling Through Steering Wheel

On my MY99 UK Turbo when cornering hard left, I am getting an awful grinding/vibration through the steering wheel.

I've had the OSF wheel bearing changed, but this has made no difference.

Anyone experienced this before? I'm going to the Nurburgring in 4 weeks so need it sorting pretty sharpish.

Help!

Thanks

Possibly the other bearing. I had similar replaced both bearings and problem cured

I am having exactly this problem on my 05 Sti. I fitted a downpipe and removed the steering UJ to do so. After putting it all back together I get a bad metal type grind when turning left, and left only. Putting it into Subaru tomorrow. Will let you know if they sort it.

Subaru found the problem. It's the heat shield on the up pipe. It's come loose, and when turning left it grinds on the UJ.
