Yes a vf22 is a good turbo and should get you those numbers, a vf35/34 is also an option along with a front entry td05-16g, all similar max power outputs with some spool variations between them.

One of my Customers cars is running a vf22, its from a 98 wrx import that my Brother imported years ago, we got 369bhp and 355 ft lbs on a 2.0 high comp engine running 20% meth, goes really well :-) Not a direct comparison but I have driven a few cars with them fitted and they work well.

they are very good figures, was that with 440 injectors? well to be honest i am hoping its not the turbo thats broken but if it is do you think 140 pounds is cheap for a vf22?

It's got 650's as it was running an md321t, but it went pop so chucked the 22 on for now, 440's should be good for mid to high 300's really.
Yes £140 is cheap, I'd be suprised if it doesn't make over £200
