Need a remap after inlet manifold spacers, fuel rail and FPR?
Hello All,
I just had inlet manifold spacers, new fuel rails and FPR fitted. The car is running, seems ok. But i'm wondering if a remap is recommended at this point? I'm driving it daily and dont want to do any damage.
I just had a remap last month, would be a pain to have to fork out again!
Thanks all

so if the op has a fpr fitted and runs the same pressure as standard or slightly above, why does he need a remap?. simon you mapped my classic once which didnt have an adjustable fpr fitted, which i had rolling roaded, and then i fitted a new sytec fpr and again had it rolling roaded, absolutely no changed????
can the op clarify what exactly he changed/did please. eg paralels/adjustable fpr and at what pressure set??
amazes me how some mappers say it needs a remap or your engine will explode and your house will fall down and the world will end etc

The fuel pressure will be different for a different fpr.
It might be safer, if might be leaner. But it should be checked and 9 times out of 10 it needs a tweak.

If you had it dyno'd after a change you checked it.
Would be better to have it check wih detcans also, but not just a fit and its fine. You checked it with a dyno run.

In this case it's really better to be safe than sorry, a dyno with det can's would and should show anything wrong though.
Get it checked just for your piece of mind
