Default Fuel leak drivers side at the rear?

Appreciate any help here as for some reason dripping fuel freaks me out lol

At the rear on the drivers side, it's leaking what smells like fuel, roughly in line with the rear wheel .

Been reading and seem to think suspect is the fuel filler possibly by the location, but have a couple of questions.

Are there any other fuel pipes that run that way, or does anyone know where the fuel pipes go when they come out of the top of the tank?

How can I get access to the fuel filler pipe?

All help appreciated.

Grant

Take out the rear seat. Bench first, then the back rest. There is a cover plate on the drivers side just in the boot behind the back seat with 4 screws to remove. That gives access to fuel lines.

Sorry done that and can't see anything wrong with the soft pipes, but can only check one where it connects to the hard pipe due to restricted access

Here are a couple of pics- first looking towards the front of the car, and second looking back at the wheel. it seems to be coming from inside the bodywork, hence Im starting to think its the fuel filler pipe, so any mtips on access appreciated.

Looks like a fuel filler leak to me- any tips on how to replace the fuel filler pipe? Difficult?

Thanks

And just found this guide as to how to do it! May be useful for people- mine is a 98 with only 37k on the clock, so suprised, but this would seem to be the issue.

Leak coming from the rear drivers side wheel? If so it'll be the fuel filler neck, they are very prone to rusting through.
Dealers will charge a fortune, look for a good 2nd hand example, expect to pay £50-100

Hmm I wish it was then I would know.

Took back wheel off and filler pipe looks almost new!

Still smells of petrol though so have no idea ! Can't see if the soft rubber pipes are connecting to the hard pipes under tank properly - think thats the next challenge unless anyone has any suggestions?

I done fancy removing half the car to see them.
