champion plugs
anyone used champion eon plugs in their scoobs???
did a service yesterday and no where could i get ngk's so used champion ones from halfords(only use halfords as got trade card).

yep.seems to run ok,will ive it a few miles and if no good will order some ngk's

If the champion are an alternative to NGK on the specification info you should'nt have any problems.

I used to have a motorbike that wouldnt run on Champion(correct plug) yet ran like a dream on NGK

well seems ok,no difference in power etc but not as smooth as ngk's so will be swapping them over next week.

going for 6's as only running about 280 at the moment.

7s will be fine though. They are a mild boost/power increase to high boost/big power increase upgrade anyway. Gap them to about 0.65mm and everything should be boodiful. Because they run colder, then can only help anyway! (i.e. if/when combustion temps. start to get marginal).
Plus don't really cost any more than 6s, to boot.
I ran 7s in my old '93 WRX, running 282/273 - no issues. As do I in my 384/349 STi 5. As do many other members on here.

well the champions managed 100 miles before running crap,changed for ngk's and running so much smoother.
