Boost on a Turbo 2000 MY97 Wagon
Ive had my car 2 weeks and the max boost I was getting through the gauge was 12-13 psi, after a major service and using Momentum 99 I have now peaked to around 16 psi
Is this about right?
Any advice would be great

factory boost should be 1 bar or 14.5 psi...
the boost cheap boost gauges will show any where from 12ish to 15 ish.
my boost was fine then the bulb went and i had to discornect it as was loosing boost only went up to 12psi after checking was a loose hose to the gauge
if you had a air leak like i did yesterday after changing my boost pipes to samcos i forgot to connect the dump valve and my idle sat at 2500 revs ..
so check your revs, check your air filter as they can sometimes be a pain to get on right, check your boost gauge pipe might have a kink in it making the presure more than what it is,,
if you don,t find it ask the garage who serviced it maybe he adjusted the actuator on the turbo ????
hope this helps,

Yep that was me
Had a good night there, was my first one too
Shame the weather didn't hold up for the end of it
On the way back I was getting harassed by a old style Honda Civic with "built not bought" on the back... He backed off after a mile or so down the A127 lol
Was some impressive scoobys there last night and can't wait to get mine up to those standards
