Default Subaru impreza wont start

hi all

thought i start my car today to do a oil change before mapping, its not been started for about 1month

i've gone to try and start it and it just turns over, when i connect the two black plugs under the dash the management light stays on for 5 long and 3 short (error 53), fuel pump keeps going on and off and when i turn the car off then the fans spin and the boost solenoid keep clicking for about 2 min after the key is out,

any one got any idea's why? the car started fine last time and really stuck atm as its going for mapping very very soon

thanks

Have you got enough fuel in?

What mods have you recently done?

You need to go back to basics. Check for fuel (remove a pipe from the filter under the bonnet), check for a spark (remove a plug & earth it while you try to start it). You have to assume you have compression (unless you have just changed your belt?) If you have all 3 then theoretically it should start.

I had a similar problem last week I had the car clean and they jet washed through my scoop and vents, car drove ok for half a mile then stopped, the 2 plugs behind the battery were soaked so I wd40 them and dried them out, still nothing I had the boost solenoid clicking as the cel light too, after about 4 hours with bonnet open in the sun she fired not been a problem since, in this weather it could be damp, change your plugs, check see if u have fuel put some fresh fuel in, then check for a spark
