Which springs for my classic??? cant get it sit level :(
Hi guy's
Well iv tried 3 sets of springs and i can't get the car sit right
First i tried some uknown make sat low at the rear, then a brand new set of apex again low on rear, then a new set of tein and guess what low on the rear some times it catch's (just passangers side) when going round corners/roundabouts at speed, i even got some kyb agx struts and it still sits the same...
I dont want coilovers as they are to harsh unless you spend ££££'s on ohlin's etc..
Can anyone recommend/help me out, on which set to get so it will sit level all around,i no standard is the best set it but i didt like how high it was on the front, my mate said get these tein's he showed me a pic of his car with them on but mine aint having none , also if anyone has any pictures to show how there car looks that would be great.
Regards

I have apex and sit level, remember you have to give it a few weeks to settle properly and when you have done springs for the first time they don't compress fully. Like when you jack the car up to change a wheel, you notice it doesn't compress back down till you either jump in and take for a spin.
Hope this helps.
I would say i could take a picture if you like, but my car is in the garage.

I have Eibachs on mine
Well tested springs that have been around for years
In hindside always best to post on here before you buy anything
Yes you will get a few different answers ,occasionally it might get onto 2/3 pages depending on the banter but the end result will be right
As pointed out above
Leave them for a couple of weeks to settle down

Shorter stiffter spring is the front, longer softer rear spring

+1 for the above shorter springs on the front so no way they would make that mistake.Try and get yourself some sti units if you can or better still some prodrive shocks & eibach springs imho. They were designed for uk roads and lower the car quite a bit without sacrificing the ride. Also the correct tyres for a classic running 17' wheels are 205/45/17,but as these can be quite hard to find a lot of classic owners opt for 215/40/17 just to keep the speedo in check. 215/45/17 were std fitment on newage wrx's . A set of these should sort it: V5 sti shocks & springs
Heres my car with prodrive bilsteins on, and no rubbing when extreme cornering
