Default front bumper fitting help? Front mount fitted

Okay everyone, I have just fitted a fmic to my 2003 blobeye.

I've cut all the neccasary bits on the bumper to ensure it fits, but when I go to put the bumper back on I cannot get the side to line up like they did?

Is there anything I need to do different?

You obviously haven't cut enough away at the front mate and it's not going back far enough or able to rock up toward the wing to line up straight.
Just keep trimming small amounts off until it's a nice fit

Yeah I've done that mate, there's no obstructions.

Its where the wing meets the bumper I can't get it to a nice level fit.

It all looks like it should go nicely but its just not lol

put a pic up mate, have you got the bumper pushed correctly in the bracket on the wing, i.e.not above or below it.

Tubby, that bracket on the wing how does the bumper sit in that? Also there like a raised bit on the bumper ( closest to the wheel ) to me it looks like that's stopping it but it was on there before lol

it sits sort of inbetween the bracket, also is it clipped in correctly around the headlights.
as mentioned by another member above, it sounds like you either havent cut enough out around the intercooler or something is stopping it lifting up into correct position.

I've watched a guy who knows what he is doing fit one to a classic.

Took him around two hours.

But the fit is amazing.
