Default Rad leak

Went for a drive earlier and on return noticed a bit of steam from the engine bay, upon opening the bonnet came across alot of fluid in the engine bay.

Located the leak to the top of the rad and it's coming from the black plastic bit on top right in the corner on the passengers side. Is this a common problem area and what the options for fixing, will it be a new rad or can the plastic part be bought seperately and i'm guessing there must be some type of sealent under to keep it water tight.

You can just make out the fluid sitting on the top corner of the rad.

I had a similier problem with my rad the black plastic had a crack in it, as far as I'm aware I don't think you can buy just the plastic as its part of the rad,So I just replaced mine with an Alloy Rad its better for the long run

As above, mine was £64 with a 2-year guarantee, takes all of an hour to fit.

DO replace all fitting bolts with stainless and give the top and bottom brackets a coat of black Hammerite.
