Remap or Decat then remap
Just wondering what most people tend to do? I've had a nice chat with some of the guys at pole position today and they were recommending that I use a decat pipe for my JDM WRX STi version 6..
I've read that a re-map is mandatory after removing the cat due to boost spike and det, but is it really worth removing the cat, I heard that you can lose a lot of back pressure from removing the cat? There's only one on my model; I'm getting it remapped as I've already put a full stainless exhaust system on with a panel filter.

Yeah, thanks for the advice! I've heard horror stories of damaging an STI by driving without the cat due to boost spike.
Anyone had any issues with the police/insurance by not having a cat?
