Get Bosch from Halfords. You can turn your coat collar so you won't be recognised.

I bought a set of Bosch blades from Halfords a while ago and would definately recommed them, great quality and you can buy a mixed pair set which match the scooby set-up (19&21 inch if I remember right)for about £10 or 12 quid

Maffa....

Bosch are great... you can take the wind catching peice off the longer one and put it one the smaller one so you have a wind catcher on both sides!!!

Makes for good wiping!!

Only £15ish pound in halfords!!!

Go get em bad boy!!! see you later today!

Just bought some yesterday from Makro. They only sell them in pairs so i ended up with two 19" and two 21", all for £15.84 inc vat. Should keep me going for a couple of years. They are Champions which i think retail for about £20 a pair in most places.

Maffa... i assume the Halfords you vist isn't a Ripspeed outlet too? The one near me is just this, and is great for a visit.

You can save money by buying them from a specialist VW motor factor. I bought a passenger side bosch blade from a local German & Swedish store for £4.41. A genuine part and fitted no problem (I just took the old blade in to get the right size and check the fittings). Got a strange look from the guy behind the counter though when I said it was for an impreza! Still, it's a lot cheaper than Halfords or the dealer.

Cheers guys,

Ended up with Champion ones at about £12.00 the pair from some new gaff in Crawley called Motor World or something so I didn't need to go to Halfords in the end

Oh & Ripspeed or not it's still Halfords

Whats wrong with Halfords? They do quality seat covers! You should see how nice the brown tweed ones I got for my Scooby look

Wink

Yes, Halfords do great bead covers as well. It eases the back pains on my taxi runs.

I've been through a few and Bosch from Halfords are definitely good ones. I do tons of countryside miles and am the fly's worse enemy, but switch on the Bosch wipers and I can return home to the city with little or no evidence of the insect masacre...smearing is minimal too at all speeds under all conditions...no squeaks (other than those from the dying flys...).
