Default Problem with side lights on standard alarm

Does any one else have the issue when they lock there car the side light stays on sometimes so you have to unlock and lock again till it goes off its doing my head in having to check the car every time i lock it its a bugeye wrx wagon???

I had it on me old bugeye, it's to do with the alarm relay knacking up & holding the indicators on, if its owt like mine it'll take more & more key presses to finally get the alarm to arm/disarm, & as far as I know you can't get into them to fix it & so you'll need a new alarm unit, cost me £300 fitted from main dealer a few years back.

I had the same on an aftermarket alarm, Selca it was, made in Italy....say no more!

Only way to cure that was a replacement.......
