Default Doh ! Think ive bought the wrong rings.

EJ20 Piston Ring Rings OVERSIZE 0.25mm 92.25mm
Doh i Bought these,

I have a 95 import wrx

Erm ... what now, I take it that these wont fit.

I think standard they should be 92mm but can anyone clarify?

If i was to use these would i need new pistons?

Normally when people want to rebuild there engine they rehone to .25 oversize as sometimes with a 17 year old CDB you can't achieve a perfect standard bore

So yes new pistons at .25 oversize along with a bore and hone

Do not do this, you will run the risk of scouring the bores of your block, i'm assuming your running standard sized pistons...if so ensure you check the bores for roundness.

Instead put the rings up for sale and then go and buy the correct rings, on that note what brand are they and how much are you after for a set?

Please PM me as i'm not here often enough.
