Default Where to put Simtek Air sensor

I am about to fit my 2nd hand Simteck to my V1. Is there a need to use the air temp sensor, is its essential, where do I fit it ?

I do have a front mount, but havent fitted it yet, that was going to be a job to later along with injector and turbo upgrade.

you would be better fitting it all at the same time then getting it mapped. otherwise youll be paying everytime you change something that will need mapping in.

Tru, I dont mind the extra charge, as i dont have much time, doing things stage by stage. I will have a look at my Hybrid IC and see if it has a place for the sensor

Ideally it would be fitted in the i/c pipework close to the throttle body

Not too close boys, you'll end up picking up residual heat in the throttle body otherwise. Ideally placed 6-12 inches from the throttle body.
