Just carried out my 6 months oil and filter change plus air filter renewal and am a little confused on how the rear part of the air box locks together. The front has two clips but there does not appear to be anything holding the tops back section to the box.

Maybe I missed a trick here or there just isn't.

Any pointer appreciated.

There are 2 small cutouts in the bottom part of the airbox at the end facing the engine, The top part has 2 small slots in it, Push it down until they slide into each other then put the 2 front clips down

Great will check it out tomorrow, don't think the slots are engaging

All sorted you were right about the lugs. The previous services of the car obviously missed that point. cheers!
