Bugeye Sti heads.. JDM vs UK
Anyone know what the difference between uk and jdm heads are?
I'm not talking big port newer models but purely bugeye Sti.
I know the jdm revs 1krpm higher but are the cams different?
I actually thought the jdm was different but I rang a subaru breaker last week who told me there's no difference between the two. *He seemed pretty convinced and said only later big port heads are different.
I've trawled the net but can't find any info.

Do you know this for sure? I have read this but when someone that breaks them for a living tells you they are identical it makes you wonder. Obviously there's the thought that a breaker might just say that so you buy his uk heads when you ask for jdm but the guy I spoke to had jdm heads.

Right, just been pointed here http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=823167
According to Subaru part numbers all Uk/eu/jdm my01/my02 Sti cams are the same. Only my02 with different cams are spec c's. All parts on eu/uk/jdm heads have same part numbers except spec c. The cams changed in 03 along with big port as we know.
Edited to add..
Eur and jdm heads have different part number though!
