What is the difference between 2.5 and 2.0 TMIC

hi everyone, my mechanic suggests there is a difference, he says the 2.5 i/c is larger is this true?

The UK 2.5 Sti 07 onwards actually has a smaller intercooler than the 2.0 Spec C of the same year, 01-05 2.0 Sti are also larger.
