Default which oil for diff

today im guna change the diff oil i just wanted to know do i need fully synthetic or semi synthetic or just any 75w90 gear oil which is recommended? for impreza turbo uk.

I got mine from RCm , just changed mine last week, I think it was called Titan or something, give them a ring. I also had to change the seals as 2 were leaking but as I had the whole diff off I changed all 4.

ok mate, well im not bothered about the make of oil just wanted to know if its any 75w90 gear oil or does it have to be synthetic, only doing it because i keep hearing a squeaking noise also its never been done i dont think and just had a replacement gearbox and new clutch so thought id do the diff oil to.

ah ok mate i just got your message as i posted the reply to the other guy lol so i take it because its called syntrax its synthetic oil?

Yeah as an all round good oil it is spot on , or if you want something better , heavyweight redline is very good stuff ....

yeah its not for track use or highly modified its just the standard recommended or what people found best for normal road use my impreza is pretty much standard just a few small mods.

i'd go with the fuchs titan race syn 5 75w-90. used to be silkolene. very good stuff

i dont need race oil its just for everyday road use theres no point paying for more expensive oil when not needed ill just go for the castrol syntrax but thanks anyway.

i dont want to order anything i want to go and buy it, im going out the door right now so ill see if either of them are in the shops.
