pretty big job to attempt if your not even sure what tools you require to do it.
but most of it bolts on i.e. wings and bonnet but i believe the slam panel will need welding up and some wiring will be involved on the headlights, also if you have xenon/hid hawkeye lights its an mot requirement to have the slef leveling and washers too.

oops my bad read it wrong, but as it happens i did this conversion last year, all you need is a screwdriver and a socket set to remove the handbrake.
once the old console is removed and new handbrake is fitted everything else bolts up.
make sure you have the big h shaped bracket for the new console as everthing bolts to this.
i went from this

to this

be aware though you will either need to cut a hole for the mirror switch or move it elsewhere.
also you will need new radio brackets
any problems mate pm me and ill try and help

Tools wise, nothing special - 10-14mm spanners, cross head screwdriver and ideally a depp 10mm socket and extension bar.

Make sure you get all the brackets for the new console including stereo brackets, you can make the v8 one fit but you need to play with it otherwise the stereo won't quite line up with the opening.

Wiring all swaps across

Only major difference is the location of the electric mirror switch which is on the drivers door for the v10 cars so you either need to relocate and get the new door cards or mod the v10 centre console to make it fit

Well all sorted thank god only problem was the handbrake though it fitted the handbrake cable was least an inch longer and the handbrake wouldn't tighten had to stick the original handbrake back on

Any ideas

Is there a big difference in the handbrakes, Was there not enough adjustment on it or would it just not tighten up?

Looks painted to me, The Spec-C is Satin finish and the S204 is a matt rubbery coating.

There's not enough turns available to fully tighten it up

Tubby are you on about removing the original handbrake wire and inserting it into the hawk handbrake ?

yes this is what i did there is a small tab that bends over on the handbrake that holds cable in , bend it so you can remove the cable and swap them over, worked perfectly for me.
