Hi all

Took my wrx 2002 into the garage today as the fuel gauge isnt moving at all , its totally stuck on empty. Checked all fuses and seem to be fine.

The garage thinks i need a new tank sender unit...

I seen this on ebay but have no idea if it will fit?

Do you think it might be the gauge that is stuck? when i bought the car the petrol light was on so i filled up straight away with 30 pound but still it didnt move one little bit... surely if its the sender the petrol light wouldnt come on? or would it?

its baffling me now i just want to get it sorted

 

Yep sounds like the sender/ float has had it. If the sender is telling the dashboard theres no fuel then yes the light will come on

 

That one won't fit yours. I have just taken one out of my jdm bugeye with a 6 month old walbro if your interested.

 

how much are you looking for turbo tez? Will it definitely fit my wrx 2002 bugeye and is it the sender as well?
