Default Steaming

Hello all. Last used my car on Sunday and last night drove approx 2 miles and stopped. When stopped looked like a lot of steam coming from headlight area. I checked the cooling system at the weekend and made sure no leaks etc. Replaced top n bottom rad hoses last year. Could not see any leaks etc. Has not lost coolant, temperature gauge normal etc.. Drove home an hour later n no steam. Could be cold, damp weather? Paranoid!

Thanks for replies. Car is a standard Turbo 2000. Just kind of alarming seeing the steam!

Sounds like you have a leak from your rocker cover gasket mate drivers side drips straight onto headers, quite common need sealing with sealer.

I'm not sure what Power steering pump would be on this model but the round early versions have a tendancy to leak.
