a couple of questions i have....
hi guys
having my uk turbo mapped on saturday after fitting the vf28, is it normal for this turbo take make noise when turning off the engine? i can only describe it as simular to when you power off a hoover but no where near as noisey but it can be herd.
also whats better air filter wise? cone or stick witht the panel?
my car has done 130k looked after with full service history etc, what should i look at replacing to keep it running sweet? eg oil, water pumps??
one more thing is a boost gauge easy to fit? and guides people have?
thanks all for your time... again, lol

Regards to the Hoover like noise I'm sure the vf is a roller bearing turbo so it's just the noise of the roller bearings mine does the same.
Air filter I use standard air box with itg panel filter
Hope this helps a bit .

My VF28 makes a winding down noise too mate so nothing to worry about. I would just get a decent panel filter like green cotton or Simota, there is no need for a induction kit.
