Default Equal length manifold Questions??

Hey folks thinking of oing equal length as I've been reading that ou gain more performance especially torque

Just out if curiousity will they bolt straight onto my 03 UK STI?

Or will I need a twin scroll sump

I'm not to fussed about the burble tbh just want to get the most out if my md321T

also interested in the gains these can give,also ported up pipe is another thing to look at steve,and cheaper.

Hi mate I've already got the gt spec unequal with Harvey's up pipe running 440 just wanted a bit more torque etc

You will need the sump, oil pick up pipe and dip stick to run a twin scroll sump

So I my standard sump okay to use with the equal length headers. ?

Probably not steve as the twin scroll sump is narrower to allow clearence for the manifold

The sump stuff on the 2.5 engine is the same as the JDM twin scroll and can be had from the dealers for about £150

I've got RCMS equal length headers on my bug on a single scroll Deadbolt 18G using the same sump......sounds like a very big mortorbike

Using a 2.5 sump or your original bugeye sump ?

Normal bugeye sump.......you don't need to change anything going equal length for a single scroll turbo...

Spot on there Shaun, only need to change them bits if you are going for a twin scroll turbo

I've got a spare 2.5 sump with pick up if anyone wants it. I'm sure I can do a little off the £150 mentioned
