Default boost guage prob

hi everyone , i have a problem with my boost guage . its an apexi guage and i have had it working for ages but suddenly today it just stopped reading boost pressure ! it lights up still so its not a loose connection of the wires . i then looked for a split on the vacume hose and couldnt seem to fault it . my car has just been rebuilt and remapped and produces 1.5bar of boost so is this enough to split the hose ?

thanks

Dave

Did you check all of the hose for splits ?
Also check its connected to T piece and check the 'T' hasnt snapped off.
Check boost solenoid for correct operation have you a 2 port ?

If its not reading any pressure at all then could be a faulty gauge maybe. Pull the hose from the back of the gauge and see if it's getting any pressure coming out of it while driving.
If there is air coming out then borrow another gauge from somewhere to test.
If no air (or maybe a tiny amount) then you know the issue is to do with the pipe work.
