Default GAUGES HELP

Can any one help. I have got 3 x prosport gauges fitted all was working fine then battery went so i replaced it since then i have no readings on my oil temp but the gauge is still lit up so i know there is power there. Would any one know what this is ??????????

Check the wire connection to the oil sender unit.

Depends how it was wired up. It will either be on the 3rd cylinder near the turbo area

you are letting it get up to temp arent you? usually the minimum reading is something like 50 degrees, which takes ages to get up to (10 mins+)

If a wire is loose it may still light up but not give a reading.
And as above, now it is very cold out it will take quite a bit of time to come up to temp.

Yeah was in it all day saturday and it was still on 0 after driving all day.

Check where the sender plugs into the rear of the gauge too, and follow the wire from sender to gauge looking for damage, another connection come loose etc.

where it connects to the back of the gauage it can look like its in but it isn't. push it in properly using a small screwdriver to be sure.

Hi mate

the sensor is located by the alternator. Same as the second picture showed.
