Default Car Covers

Anyone tried one of these car covers from ebay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-COVER-...item870de1dfd3

Just looking for something to stop the frost on my windows and these are cheap and water proof.

Thanks

I've got a mid level spoiler.

It's mainly just to cover the windows to stop them freezing, i could get a top half one i guess.

Thanks

And retaining moisture. More expensive covers will "breath", cheaper covers won't do this effectively which can cause havoc with paintwork.

correct but only long terrm ,say if the car was stored at months at a time , if its just day/day say for when the snow arrives you dont want breathable as there not waterproof and retain water,

Incorrect. The dewpoint will be reached on the day/night the cover is on. From then on unless ventilated the damp will remain. Then you're into damp associated problems - mildew formation, rust formation etc

im talking about having a car cover on overnight so in the morning when the snow is here i lift the cover off covered in snow & my car is dry under << i think ur getting a little ahead as to say i will suffer rust formation / i have breathable covers on my motorbikes year round , but the car only gets cover when the snow arrives so for me thats fine
