What would be the likely cause of oil pressure drop? Car always ran 30 psi hot idle until last week (when I noticed it) when it has dropped to around 20psi. I thought it was the Prosport gauge on the the blink again as i've had one sender go south, so I bought and fitted a Racetech mechanical hoping that was the issue. Nope, still the same. Done an oil change as suggested by David at API but this has made little difference. There are no knocks, rattles or performance changes. Temperatures are all correct. Could it be the oil pump failing? Or I seem to remember reading somewhere about oil pick up pipes cracking. Any ideas guys? Thanks.
