Hi really need some help I have a uk 2000 classic impreza version 5/6 I have just brought a FMIC and am worried if the turbo is going to be up to the job, the turbo is a vf28 roller bearing, my car also has 3" exhaust system and cone filter. I am usure if it has been previously mapped it runs 1bar of boost. Also what injectors does my car have are they 440? I have been advised to fit a walbro fuel pump and have it mapped, what power should I expect

440cc injectors (if not replaced by previous owner(s)are in there now
That's enough to support at least 350hp on pump gas.
When fitting another uprated turbo a remap is neccesary (PERIOD)
With a VF28 you'll be looking at 320-340ish crank HP when decently mapped.

 

So hopefully it will have ecuTeK already on it! Anyway of telling what my injectors are??
What would be a safe reliable boost to be set at
