Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
I had a 255lph fuel pump lying in the back of my [old] project Nissan 100NX which I will be breaking then scrapping. Anyway I thought that they may have been universal so I took the pump out of my UK 99 Scooby Wagon to fit the Walbro one and they look totally different. The Walbro one is literally half the size so i decided to put the standard one back.
Just thought i'd check on here before I buy a Walbro pump that's advertised for a classic Imprezza.
Can anyone tell me if this difference in size is normal? Walbro = 50% the size of the Subaru one. Also i'd have to solder the wires and cable tie it in place so it didn't seem right to me.
Cheers

later MY99/00 cars have a single plug connector on the pump as opposed to two seperate connectors as seen in the above link

Brilliant, thanks a lot Gambit.
That link is a really good write up with good photos.
I don't have that same rubber bit for the bottom I don't think so I will either need to still buy a whole new fuel pump specifically for my car or try and get a hold of the accessories to make this one fit.
