Panel Filter for classic
What type of panel filter do you guys use?
I currently use a HKS panel filter, i believe this one:
http://scoobyparts.co.uk/acatalog/HKS_PANEL_FILTER.html
It is very old and needs replaced.
I also seen this filter:
http://scoobyparts.co.uk/acatalog/GR...EL_FILTER.html
Just wondering how many people use these filters and which is better?

I have used K & n for over 20 years now and never had any problems whatsoever ,and the real beauty of them, is that when they get really dirty is that you can buy the cleaning fluid and clean them yourself and when done properly they come up exactly the same as a brand new filter.

Problem is i used the K&N cleaner on the HKS filter but the nozzle was broken so it wouldnt spray on, so i ended up applying too much cleaner and it deterioated the filter
I've used this cleaner before and it was fine but the nozzle worked back then.

I use cosworth at the minute, but HKS or pipercross are good. I dont like K&N anymore, that last one i had was drenched in oil and hold it to the light, the holes in it are big compared to the dry foam or cosworth filters. The reusable marketing it rubbish too, every time the filter is washed the filtration is reduced
